Overland is a rave inciter and beat architect shaped by her upbringing in small town Alberta,Canada, and an itinerant way of life guided by the magnetism of disparate musical influences.With notable sojourns in London, UK and Vancouver, British Columbia,Overland’s journey has taken her from organizing hometown warehouse raves and beachside renegades to high profile bookings at Berlin’s Tresor and Boiler Room x Igloofest Montreal. Echoes of the myriad of people and places that have helped her flourish can be heard in her playful, high-energy mixes and simmering sets that weave morphing basslines with propulsive beats. Her driving, dynamic and acid-laced productions have been released on Lisbon’s Naive and New York’s Sweat Equity. Berlin-based label Paryíarun by Marie Montexier hosted her record in 2021 with a remix by high profile ambient trio Purelink, and Priori’s Canadian imprint, GARMO released her most recent record with praise from Hardwax. Fresh off the back of a newly minted residency for Rinse France, Overland’s mark on Canadian dance music continues to thrive and shows no sign of slowing down.

R|V^H's sonic palette is a testament to his diverse influences, drawing inspiration from a wide spectrum of artists, producers, and styles. His musical tastes traverse the minimal realms of house and hypnotic techno, where the essence of each beat is experienced in its purest form. Yet, R|V^H's sonic explorations go beyond convention, as he finds himself captivated by the fusion of driving percussion and compositional synthesis that defines genres like melodic house, deep house, and techno.
As a resident DJ at the Downbeat Event Centre, R|V^H is curating a deep and hypnotic techno event several times per year. A key member of the Ironic Spin clan, you can frequently find him throwing down deep/progressive house or techno sets amongst many a Burner crew.
R|V^H’s sets are more than tracks laced together, they’re journeys, inviting listeners to explore the profound connection between music, presence, movement and emotion.

From his humble beginnings as a dancefloor observer, Dodd carefully catalogued the sounds and reactions of the people in order to pinpoint the perfect palette of progressive sounds: blending trancey, glitchy, dubby and techy tidbits into memorable dancefloor journeys that transcend sonic expectations.
